Get speared by a great blue heron. Disturbing, but kind of awesome, too.

I once had a 14" lemonfin barb that I was holding in a huge plastic tote whilst I did some repair work on it's tank. When I went to net it out to return it to its home it spooked and launched itself out of the tote.

It flew through the air at head height before crashing onto a hardwood floor. I thought it was surely doomed but when I picked it up and put it in the tank it swam off as if nothing had happened! Tough fish.

Some may not like the live feedings but this fish is just wicked... He kills everything

I saw a fish bite another fish's eye out. It was gross but I have seen humans do worse things to each other.
