Whats Best For My Filter

Hello,i recently bought a fluval 205 external filter and the only media inside it was the 4 sponges where the inflow is so I bought 2 nets of activated carbon and a box of biomax.So in order I have 4 sponges,carbon,carbon,biomax then filter floss at the end.It has been running around 2-3 weeks now but the water still isn't crystal clear.My tank is a juwel rio 125.Do I have everything in the correct order ?

You don't really need the carbon at all, I haven't used any for the last five years. It's only really of any use if you want to take out any old medications and you'd be better off if you used the space for some more sponges or some such. Water takes a little time to clear and you will need to have little more patience. Carbon will remove a lot of the nutrients in any plant food you might be using, that's why I stopped using it.
