What Would You Do With A 150 Gallon Tank

What would you do with a 150 gallon tank, I would probably have it heavily planted, overi overfilterd, Sand and heated
3 make bettas
40-50 boraras brigittae
40 cardinals or neons
20 kuhlis
30 pygmies

I'd make a cichlid tank or maybe oddballs but if it was larger than 100 gallons I think I'd go saltwater. 100 gallons or less I'd do fresh unless I was going to do something special. I'd probably go with bigger fish instead of a community.

Yeah, I say do saltwater. Salt water fish are, at least in my opinion, much more vivid and brightly colored. And since there's no plants, it's basically an african ciclid setup, but with different fish. You could do a lot with a 150 gallon.

If you are deadset on a freshwater, I think the stocking you have now is great. I personally wouldn't want bettas though, so I would choose something else. Maybe some gouramis would be nice. I like the idea of big tanks with huge schools instead of a monster fish tank.

I would go for a marine setup with a snowflake moray eel as the centrepiece. They are going to be the ones that convert me over...

Too much work, time and money and doesn't really grab me the way freshwater does, yes its beautiful but I would like to stick to FW.

I have a big SA set up atm and its quite boring for some of the time Centrals are much more interactive, and an increasing amount of species available - IMO Central American families are a lot more diverse than Souths so in a lot of cases you can really choose the exact type of fish you want. And the individuals vary more widely in character and markings than SA.

So it seems like marines and chichlids is what everybody wants. TBH I've never been find of larger fish, like your average chichlid I don't kow why. I think that it is just because i always have these specific fish that I always want and if I were to get any type of chichlid.... Other than a dwarf, then I would have major problems
