Hey everyone, just looking for some opinions as to what I could add to my 75Gal cichlid tank. Currently I have 4xSilver Dollars, varrying in size from almost 5"-3.5", 2xFiremouths(male/female pair 4.5"/3.5" respectivly), and 2xBlood Parrots(male/female pair, not 100% sure which is which but one is near 6" the other pushing 4"). Ive had this same set-up for nearly 2 years now and the fish are very healthy and the blood parrots have even spawned, although the male is sterile(as to be expected) so they didnt hatch, but anyways I figure ive got a little bit of room for another addition or 2. A couple options I am considering are 2xSyndontis(Eupterus most likely) or a Sengal Bichir and Pleco of some sort. Anyway all suggestions are appreciated!!

Hi, Welcome to the forum :)

Whats the dimensions of the tank? Coming close to full stocking long term imo.

With two established pairs any cichlid additions will be tricky, could ruin the balance. If want to try cichlids would go with something like an Acara or Chocolate.

Liking the Bichir and Pleco suggestions :good:

Thank you for the welcome!

The tank is a standard 75 gal (48 1/2 x 18 1/2 x 21 3/8), and I totally agree about adding another cichlid...being it would upset the balance and most likely end with the new fish dead. The territories of the tank are very established so I deffionatley dont wanna attempt adding another cichlid, but was thinking a bichir or pair of hardy/large catfish could work.
