as a matter of fact the banded one looks somewhat like a convict cichlid

well they say they ordered gold saums and thats what they got, (they were irritated) i looked at the tank and i admired them, they swam up and greeted me and werent aggresive at all

I agree, Vieja. Either a Bifasciatus or Synspilum.

Yeah 100% a young Vieja too young to see which one yet though, but I think Minnnt is on it with Bifa or Syns.

Be ready with a big tank these get to 12 - 14 inches and are quite aggressive some species are worse than others though. Either a 5x2x2 or a 6x2x2 the 2 foot width is important the height less so.
