I've spent $20 on certain plecs here and there.

I've got a good sized group of $14.99 loaches swimming around too.

If we do the other poll my trip to the fish store the other night woul dbe my top at $126 in one trip and $180 for the day.

I think once my dad spent about $35 on a large black moore goldfish.

The question should be, how much money has one spent on fish all together...

I've spent at least over 1,000 dollars on fish alone over the years. And I'm just 17...

I don't even want to talk about it. I'm too ashamed. :|

The most I've ever spent on one fish was $25 for Gilarion (in sig). Come on, he's a rosetail HM!! So totally worth it!
My Marie Antoinette the tailless midas hybrid came in at a close second though, about $23. She was a little overpriced if you ask me, but cute as a button and has a great personality. I don't regret it at all :)

I've never spent more than 4$ (usd) on a single fish. I try to stay away from expensive ones, cuz I cain't keep the cheap ones alive :/ .

I'm coming in close. I'm 16 and spent over $850... only in the past 3-4 months.........

I voted for the 4th catagory, but corys are usually sold in "breeding groups" of 5 or 6. My most expensive group was the five black C. aeneus that I recently bought on AquaBid. Including shipping, they set me back $304 US. :D

I voted in the first category... my most 'expensive' fish to date has been Jeremiah, my betta, for $8.90. Not too bad a price for a nice crowntail or such, but Jerry is a red veiltail. -_- But he is an adorable little guy with a sweet personality and I don't regret it at all. :)

My most expensive fish is my ray, she cost me £90 and should have been £120 but i traded some other fish in too. Loads of my fish fit into the £41 to £60 range, £50 is a very average ammount for me to pay for a fish.

I knew I was a cheapskate.... 2.75 (sterling) each for my corys. And the fish I've got planned will be quite cheap too: dwarf gouramis are 5.99 for a pair here. Oh well I like my fish just as much as if they'd cost a fortune- besides, I don't happen to have a fortune.

I spent £10.50 on one adolfi cory - did'nt know he was that expensive as I could'nt see a price, but I fell in love with him and got him anyway. Now I'm looking for some friends for him - very difficult fish to get round here - and it gives me time to save some money  However that seems pretty cheap compared to some others - so I'm obviously not that extravagant
