What The Hell Is This Creature In My Tank?

I couldn't recognize it from the "Hitchhikers In Freshwater Tanks & Ponds" thread.The closest was the Dragonfly nymph.And looking at it more i think maybe it is.Scared the crap out of me when i was moving a plant.

How do i get rid of these,just fish them out?

It actually looks more like a grasshopper youngster. Dragonfly nymphs are even uglier! Yikes.

Just googled dragonfly nymph and yep, that's it! They eat mosquito larvae ...

It is a Dragonfly nymph.... and they do eat mosquito larvae and a lot more..... They have a bottom jaw, which just shoots out and catch all your fry and smaller fishes as well.... Just sucks them dry & spits them out .... and then the next and then the next.... Undesired creatures they are.... seek them out and execute them as and when you see them.

looks more like a wasp to me...i have seen Dragonfly nymph's and they have never looked like that!

It's not common. It can happen more readily in outdoor goldfish ponds when people move the fish and plants inside over the winter. There can be all sorts of strange and fantastical creatures with that situation, lol.....or depending on the fish store you got your plants from, it could have been hiding among the leaves. The only other thing I can think of (and this would be pretty rare), would be if you had a dragonfly in your house and it got at the tank and laid some eggs. Which means....THERE COULD BE MORE!!!!!! lol
