What The Heck Are These Things?

In my tank recently, I've found 2 lots of pairs of these little white blobs with black on them on 2 different plants in my tank. I have no idea what they are, and would really like to know, since I of course don't want anything dangerous in my tank.
They're white maybe about 0.3cm blobs, and they have a bit of black on their backs. When I see them, they are always in pairs (though that may just be luck). I do have a picture but I can't find my camera cable.
Does anyone have any ideas what these could be? I thought they could be baby snails, but I'm not sure. I always take them out when I see them, just in case they're harmful to the fish.

Can't be, I only have platies and endlers in my tank and all their fry are swimming around, not sticking to leaves

The only egg layers I have in my tank are shrimp, but I don't think these are shrimp eggs.

Red cherry shrimp. Though I think 3 have died and the last one is a male. I also didn't buy any with eggs in the first place.

I found 2 when I was putting bogwood into the tank, and my mum came and took a look and says that they're snail eggs. Still, I found them in a pair again. Very strange.
I think I'll put a bit of veg in and see what I can 'catch'

definately not shrimp eggs as they carry them until born they are not laid anywere. could be snail eggs? what snails do you have or is it just pest snails
