What Pair Of Fish In 10 Gal Tank?

I have a 10 gal tank,that house loads of juvi corys at the moment,but will soon be moving on to new homes.

So rather than use both my 10 gals for rearing corys(although i love seeing them grow)i was wondering what fish or pair i could house in a 10 gal that look nice and possibly breed from??

Ideas please.

I would recommend a small species of Apistogramma like Apistogramma hongsloi
Or a type of Killifish like Aphyosemion australe

i nearly brought an apisto veijita a couple of days ago, and was told they wont get very big. they looked amazing.

Thanks for the link Biulu i do have sparklers & pygmies in my main tank,but worth a thought whether to put them in there...

Apisto's do look amazing - i'm swaying that way at the moment...
would a pair of apisto's be ok,or do i need a trio???
I guess i need to do a read up on dwarf cichlids

Would otos live happily with apisto's??

Try to buy 2 Apisto that seem to be a pair. When in trios, there is sometimes some aggression with the lone female.
Otos are fine with Apistos

It won't be for a few weeks or so - i will need to check out local lfs to see if they have any in stock to start with...
I want to plan a tank layout that would suit the apisto's has opposed to throwing one together,i'm not much good at scapes... or keeping plants

I disagree Apisto spawn in harems of 1 male to multiple females so with a pair there will be more aggression focused on the female than if theres a 2 females to spread his aggression out.

my house mate has a pair of nanacara tenia in his planted 10g they are awesome such good personality and truely beautiful fish

ahh, forgot the OP wanted breed the fish he will add. In that case, you will need more females.
