What Kinds Of Plant Would You Guys Suggest?

what kinds/species of plants would you reccomend that are easily obtainable at almost any fish store for a 20 gallon?

heres the question. i asked the guy at petsmart (the one that technically killed my fish,before they died) if getting a live plant be better for a fish tank than a plastic one and he said " you can get one, but then you'll have to do more water changes and you can only have one plant or else youll have too much oxygen and kill the fish."

what do you guys think about about his "knowledge"?

rubbish in my opinion
you can have as many plants in your tank as you want and you won't have too much oxygen
also im not sure on the water changes but i think that a joke aswell ( dont quote me on that but see what other people say )
as for some plants java moss or java fern
amazon swords and vallis

JoshJames is correct.
The store assistants 'knowledge' in non existent.
You certainly don't need to do extra water changes, just the normal 20% a week.

In my 30 Gal I have:
30+ Stems Cabomba
3 x Amazon Sword
3 x Java Fern
10+ Twisted Vallis
Some Java Moss
6 Stem plant - Think it might be ludwigia or something
1 Reed Plant
2 Very bushy leafy plants
1 x Moss Ball
2 x Anubias nana

My fish are very happy and healthy and I do a 20% water change every week, as I was before I added plants.
