What Kind Of Sand To Use?

can someone tell me what kind of sand to use in my tank.
i've used play sand (well washed) before but i want to find a whiter sand...
send me a petco link or give me your thoughts on play sand

Well if you've used play sand before and weren't pleased I'm not sure there's much to tell you. Try some of the white sand you see at petsmart or petco or go to a pool supply store and find some lighter pool filter sand

If you want to save money use some cat litter first than add sand on top of it. A pro of using the cat litter is that cat litter acts as a fertilizer for live plants. It's also very inexpensive.

For your white sand check out Petsmart they usually have good quality sand.

and i found this sand on the petco website ( called super natural) i might buy some
