What Fish Could Live Happy In A 30 Gallon

I agree with ALEXF. When I have a problem with what people want to have in my tanks... I just set up one for them.

She wants a corn snake ... and I would get her one if I didn't think she would spend most her time screaming. ha ha

She is just unhappy that the Piranha consumes alot of my time right now.

The link doesn't work.

yea i had a problem with the link too, snakes are fun, get her to hold on before you get it thou make sure shes not to squimish, a 30 gallon tank would be really nice for a pair of cornsnakes i believe.

How did the conversation turn from oh hi I am thinking of putting a fish in MY tank into yeah I heard if she takes over your tank she could have 2 corn snakes HA HA.

I have been up for the idea BUT maybe I wanna be selfish and get another fish.

Oscars are not preds and are pretty lame in comparison to wolf fish.

I am not really looking for another ferocious or not pred to be honest.

I am just looking for a nice interesting pred for fresh water who would happily live in a 30 Gallon (I will probably upgrade but don't want to be rushed) and eat the food I have already stocked up on (shrimp, mussells and squid. etc.). I feed my Piranha from frozen shrimp, mussells and squid (obviousely defrosted) so I don't really see him go crazy (much much much less messy and less likely to get disease)

that wolffish looks great.

are they readily available in the UK and would they suit a species only tank

how bout a couple of dwarf snakeheads, say Orientalis?

Couldn't find any pics on the Orientalis

You said a PAIR of dwarf snakeheads? How big do they grow?

Yeah, they're big wimps.

I'd go with the wolf, personally. You won't have to worry about upgrading.

I am heavily thinking the Wolf ... (my girl keeps reminding me she thinks the Piranha is enough ha ha won't she be surprised)
