What Fish Could Live Happy In A 30 Gallon

What is the chance there is a nicely sized fresh water shark that can live happy in a 30 Gallon and will eat shrimp, mussells and squid?

a "red tail black shark" or a "ruby shark" would live in a 30gal, but if you have any other fish in there they may become aggressive. :good:

of course, they're not real sharks.

Has to be marine for a shark?

i think for a real shark, yes. it has to be marine and a huge tank.

however, there are freshwater stingrays which are a cousin of the shark, i think?

but these too need a HUGE tank, and deffo not a 30gal!

Yeah no good ...

I was kinda looking for a selection to kinda take around and see what is available when the tank is done cycling.

Surprised that no onehas mentioned the snakehead family yet. There are many dwarf species which have real character and do readily breed if the conditions are right. Species such as channa gachua are nice or better yet channa bleheri. :good:
