what does every one keep?

was just wondering what kind of fish, except for cichlidmaster, everyone keeps. i don't think there is enough space on the forum for cichlidmaster to post all of his fish. heehee!

i've got:

2 red devils
2 buttikoferi
umteen convicts (pink variety)
3 jack dempseys
1 green terror
1 pacu
i blue zebra
3 cyrtocara moori (blue dolphin haps)
4 lake edwards ruby greens
4 frontosas

there is the happy family and as soon as i can get these other tanks cycled the family is going to grow. this is hunting season for my husband and i can always sneak new ones in during that time.

Some pretty fish there. Don't know what a edward ruby red is, tho.

the lake edwards ruby green is a really pretty fish. there are several strains of the ruby green though. asked my friend when i first got them cause they are classified as vics. technically they are not. they are found out of the three major lakes like the buttikoferi. the males of course are the more colorful. they are blue to a very dark blue on their bodies. depends on their dominancy and age. they have a green shimmer to their bodies with a red head. the females stay battleship gray. the males get really aggressive with the females and are one fish that you cannot get by with just a pair. subdominant males will take on the coloring of females with the red head. really need to vent this fish to sex them. i thought i had a female that i had rescued from the lfs. the male had eaten off her fins and beat on her. i bought the pair and brought them home and seperated them. "she" made a full recovery. then i got my blue dolphins. i had a couple of changes to still make to their tank so i put them in with the ruby green. the damn thing colored up and tried to mate with the moori! so he got his own tank. went to the lfs and they had just gotten some in. took 2 females home and he does not want to have anything to do with them. the moori tank and ruby green tank are side by side. if he ever catches site of the moori he colors up and shimmies at them until one of his females comes around. then he fades back and swims away from her. they are also a smaller fish. get to be around 6-8".
