About 150 gallons i think. Its 5 x 2 x 2ft. We are going to make our own hood with the help of a carpenter friend, work out what the heck we are going to use as a stand and save for a filter so have given ourselves a yr to get it all fixed up.

No idea yet. I like clown loaches and blue rams but don't know what else I will have yet. it will be a community tank with lots of fish though

I was thinking about this earlier..... i swear I'm just gonna order some fish for you if you don't get them yourself soon!!!

Also can someone advise me on where I can get a stand for a tank this size. i can only find 4ft ones. I would prefer a simple metal stand for affordability

tricky one, one of the lfs's in leeds is good for affordable metal stands in all shapes and sizes, may just be a case of trawling your local shops.
