What Do You Keep With Your Bettas?

Anyone had any success keeping any type of betta with any types of gouramis?

I'm looking to set up a south east Asian set up, possibly with a mixture of loaches(botia Histronica) a type of gourami and was hoping a more peaceful betta of some sort.

I'v been looking at betta imbellis with a possibility of croaking gouramis, pearl gouramis or honeys.

Any one had any success?

I kept my imbellis with glowlight danios, kuhli loaches and platinum halfbeaks and they never showed any interests towards any of the other fish. i think sparkling will be the best choice considering there very relaxed
