What do you do with your old tank water?

I tip mine down the sink, but I no some fishkeepers who use it for there plant's in the garden.

right down the drain [the bathroom sink]. THe plants in my house are downstairs and my tank is in my room... I just know I'd spill it all over the hardwood. )

might now start watering the houseplants with it now that others have mentioned it

i water the plants (indoors and outdoors), i feel guilty just throwing it down the drain when it can still be used for something else. it just seems wasteful

When I remember, I water my plants with it. Otherwise, it just goes down the drain. Don't have a lawn to water with it, and besides, it's winter now, so dumping it outside would any make things slippery.... Hmmm...if I had the room, I could try to make a "skating rink"
