Recommend a fertilizer please

All of my tanks save one are planted mostly with anubias, swords, guppy grass, crypts and vallisneria. I have never used fertilizer over the last four years but some of the plants are starting to melt. 1) What brand fertilizer do you recommend? 2) How do you decide to use liquid or root tabs or both? Thanks.

Are these high tech or low tech tanks?

1) Flourish Comprehensive liquid (NOT their other liquids, look for “comprehensive “) and Flourish root tabs (beware cheaper tabs that can contain high levels of ammonia)
2) Heavy root feeders need root tabs - your swords and crypts (need to replace the tabs every 3 months) also vals and guppy grass to a lesser extent.
Plants that feed from the water column like your Anubias need the liquid ferts. This can be added weekly.

Let the fish be the fertilizers . That’s always been good enough for me . I don’t like adding potions and chemicals to aquariums . Maybe if I had a big aquarium but my biggest is a twenty high and I think a guy is playing with fire messing around trying to keep the dosage exact in small aquariums .
