What Can You Do With 50 Plants?

Me?- I can make a pigs ear of everything...

Well i ordered 50 plants a few days ago and they arrived today so i planted them all, me being stupid, I thought it would be easy It wasn't- as above i made a pigs ear of it all, all the plants kept coming lose and I planted a number of them upside down! However it does looks a lot better than before but still not good so i was wondering what would you have done or how would you suggest i change it. Any thoughts or opinions would be extreamily welcome.

So anything you would suggest I change or add? or anything else? I'm changing to black sand in a few weeks so I'll have an other chance to re-organise things
and I'm sorry for the blurred fish all over the place- they never want to be photographed unless i want them out the way
Sadly the white stuff on the back I can't get off- it was on the tank when i got it and though it's on the out side i can't find anything that will get it off.

I ordered them off Ebay from 'The Last Trading Post' They were very good- it took 3 days for them to get here, they sent them out straight away and the plants all look it good condition, as far as I can tell, and they cost a huge amount less than any of my LFs.

It looks like you may have some Java fern in the gravel on the right? If that's the case, you'll want to take the rhizome out of the gravel and tie it to a rock/piece of wood to prevent it rotting.

Just had a look myself. 100 Plants @ £20?!?!! Shame i couldnt fit them all in, but ill definately be ordering 50

Did the moss balls on the left of the tank come in this? (Normally quite expensive on their own!)

My personal opinion, but I would remove those coloured stones from the front.

I know! i was tempted just to buy 100 but figured 50 would cover both my tanks; as it is I havn't managed to get any in the other tank
No, most of the plants i got were stem plants, i think I got two types that weren't; the moss balls came free with the tank- strange things, when they get stuck in the current all the fish think they have a new tank mate ;p

Thats actually about the only thing I got right (sorta) they each have a glass bead threaded on them to keep them down until I figure out what to do with them- they are on top of the subtrate, just fallen over

it's surprising really how little they cover, with 50 plants I expected to have plants flowing out my ears but they only just cover the 120L let alone the 90L as well

Hopefully it'll work for me as I only have a 100L and 50L which both already have a fair amount of plants, plus I ordered some moss balls too. Oh well, if it doesn't, I'll just get another "present" through the post

it should do then..but on the other hand 'presents' are always nice- even when your the one paying
