What's new

What are you doing today?

I limit myself to 1 hour of tv per day.
I have not been watching TV for several years... my childhood was pleasant also thanks to TV shows that I used to watch, but nowadays, now I prefer to ultimately watch someone else playing a game, reading an article, a book... I just finished reading "O trabalho alemão no Rio Grande do Sul" by Aurelio Porto, and now I intend to resume my reading of "Macunaíma" from Mário de Andrade. Indeed, this last one is terribly complex to understand; he uses different Portuguese dialects and also Tupi words. Also, I finished reading the little controversial "Ser escravo no Brasil: séculos XVI-XIX" by Kátia Mytilineou de Queirós Mattoso. Oh, okay, I will go and update my profile in Good Reads.

Talking about watching things, these are fragments of me trying to do yoga:

Collecting RO water for replacing my aged, aerated, heated stored water for upcoming WCs T and W. I modified a heavy duty dolly into a cart with six 5g buckets w lids. I begin by 1.5 hours collecting 10-12g RO, wait 2.5 hours for RO tanks to be refilled (booster pump really helps), then 1.5 hours again and repeat until 35g collected. After the actual T WC session, do this again tomorrow for the W session. Btw….I also collect tap water to mix with the RO. What I collect on T will be the water that gets aged, aerated, and heated for the next future WC in my stationary 45gBrut garbage can.:)

Still sounds like a lot of work . My setup is handy for how I do things . I have a 44 gallon Rubbermaid Brute container filled with my special blend of R/O and tap that I keep heated and under aeration right in my fishroom . I also have a twenty gallon container full of straight R/O . More than adequate for my little system . I did , however , empty it completely yesterday and I had to refill it and now it sits bubbling off the chlorine . Spring runoff is in high gear and the water coming out of the tap is reading 48 PPM TDS ! I don’t even have to doctor it up .

I've torn down my 90L today and just finished the rescape after 9 or so hours (long lunch ;)) . Hoping it survives the night and I don't wake up to a cloudy mess tomorrow.

Just started a really fun movie. Watching 'A Million Ways To Die In the West' with Charlize Theron. Some may call this movie raunchy but I find it just fun.
A great comedy that one. MacFarlane has made some great films and series over the years. Well that’s if you don’t get offended easily 😅
