Who else goes through old childhood songs and then go: "Ohhhh wow... I listened to that. Why did my parents let me listen to this??" 🤣🤣🤣

Boring me, I am working right now. I just set up a little terrarium for my butterwort and am getting 3 more today and 3 sundews delivered to add to the terrarium when I get home.
Future plans are to get a paladarium set up for the plants with a little waterfall feature and some shrimp.
They are smaller than I thought, lol.

The first close up are of the dwarf sundew, the others are the pinguicula/butterworts.

Actually, kinda rethinking the sparkling gourami thing.... Debating...
There's not a lot of interesting stuff you can put in a five gallon.
Scarlet basis for one 😍

Whoooooa....
The second and third pictures are my personal favorites 100%.

I would totally have the second one as a tall portrait poster...
The moon was so bright!!

(Maybe I’ll make prints of it:hey:jk)

Keep us updated! The plants look nice now but I'm sure once they grow in they will be absolutely gorgeous.
The great thing is they won't really get too much bigger. The first close up is the unknown butterwort I got at Orchids by Hauserman's and is still in it's warm weather shape. As the weather gets cooler they start to resemble succulents, which is why the next 3 pics look like bitty succulents. The last one has the larger leaves for warmer weather, these are the sticky leaves that attract and hold fungus gnats- their primary source of food. They have 4-5 thin hair like roots that they use to attach to rocky surfaces. The new additions are from Mexican pinguicula which are found clinging to moss covered rocky walls near waterfalls. The sundews are bog plants and need to be in water, like pitcher plants.

Lol, I will feed these guys fish food mush.
