Fish Addict
We're having deluxe green salads with chickpeas, cheese, carrot, romaine & tomato; maybe pretend croutons (wheat toast, lol)
My husband has gotten much better at grocery shopping since he does it more often now post-retirement
He used to not buy meat, even just ground beef or chicken breasts. I've (gently) coached him on how to pick out some veggies & fruit. I admit I'm a bit of a fussbudget about some items. Often it's quality, sometimes size or price. With just 2 of us, a giant cabbage or big bag of fruit is too much. I have noticed he tends to buy smaller bunches of broccoli, not often his fav veg. We disagree on some things like mayo brand, cereal, etc. He shops at different stores than my usual 1s & is apt to get things I don't, like pastries (no, don't make eye contact!). He is better at wine, soup, curries, etc.
I am going to learn to add rosemary to food. I like the smell. Maybe if I plant it & can just run out & snip some. It's evergreen here.
