Started dumping snails into an empty tank to save for assassin snails. Now I have one big mess. What should I do with all of these?

put them in a plastic bag and mash them with a hammer

don't flush them because they can transmit diseases into the natural water ways.

either squash them and dump on the garden or see if a pet shop wants them.

But beware of getting internal worms in your stomach if they are not cooked properly.

Or use high salt or hot water to kill them and dump them into garden as what Colin mentioned or some proper disposable places.

It's the French that eat snails. I'm not sure the Italians would be that willing to, maybe with a lot of vino But imagine the size of the snail fork you would need for escargot Malaysian trumpet snail.
