No thanks. I only want one firemouth. I think mine is a male as it is growing more and more like the bigger one which looks pretty much like a male. I can do without the aggression when they try to breed, especially when they get big (for my tank). Mine is not marking any territories yet, but maybe it's still small. The sajica I had marked its territories soon after arriving. It's now gone to a good home (shed) in Liverpool.

Thats a shame mate, i believe mine are both males too. One of mine may well be up for sale shortley as mine sound like they're doing the same as yours. I am desperate for a breeding pair but no one seems to have one for sale!

Wharf has some larger firemouth (4" I think), some of which looks more like female. Can't help otherwise.

Yeah i know, they had two in, i was going to buy them but went for another one at the last minute. Might buy them if they're still there then keep my fingers cossed that i get a pair from them then move the others on... Now wonder people just keep guppies.
