Water From Dehumidifier?

Just wondered if water from a dehumidifier was any good for water changes etc?

Dont know about yours mate but mine has bits of dust and fluff in it.

Mines pretty good, but wasn't sure if it was safe. Think I will just stick to the tap. Lol.

We managed to kill a houseplant with dehumidifier water...

I wouldn't have thought so as it will draw in a lot of impurities from the air

Also the coils inside that do the dehumidifying (if that is a word!) are made from copper - so no good for shrimp if you have them

Well, it's just condensed moisture from the air (just like rain water!) so it should be fine - it just doesn't have any minerals so you might wanna use it 50/50 with tap water...
