Vallisneria Problems

Hey all,

I recently aquired a few of these plants from nmonks. When they arrived they were in great condition etc.
After being in my tank for a few weeks, the leaves have gone brown and are dying back.
My water is quite soft if it makes any difference.
Any ideas or suggestions?

vallis def prefers hard water, and once estabilished it goes great guns, i can remember it being hard to get going,

substrate, prefer fine gravel or sand
needs, little nuitrments or co2
