Hi everyone,
I'm having a nightmare with my Amazon sword plants and could do with some advice!
I've recently upgraded to a roughly 350-litre aquarium and added Amazon swords, but the leaves are starting to turn brown, wilt and generally look like they're dying.
I've already put root tabs in the gravel to help feed them, but they still don't seem to be doing well.
Some of the leaves are deteriorating, and I'm getting fed up with trying to keep live plants healthy. I've had problems with plants in my previous tank as well.
I'm wondering whether they're just melting from being moved into a new tank or whether there's something I'm missing.
Has anyone experienced this with Amazon swords? Should I leave them alone and see if they recover, or am I doing something wrong?
I'm after hardy plants that will actually thrive without constantly having to mess around with them!
Any advice would be appreciated because they're driving me nuts!
