Using Prime

Ok i got the dogs doodahs in water conditioner and i wanted to do a quick 15lts water change after cleaning the glass
and found i needed to be albert einstein to work out how much to use for 15lts bucket

2/200= 0.025x15lts= 0.375mm how the hell do i measure that out
have i bought the rong one for smaller changes??

what you need is a 1ml syringe. I use one for dosing Prime as I need to dose 0.6ml per bucket that I use.

You should be able to pick one up on eBay quite easily and cheaply.

ok i see i have a 5mm one from chemist will take a look on ebay any shops that may sell them as i may need to do water change before i can ebay one

just 'overdose' until you get one. If you have a 5ml syringe it should be quite easy to judge a 1ml or even a 0.5ml measurement, and that will be fine - it's quite safe to double the does of Prime (or even more), especially when not doising the whole tank and only the replaced water (as you are doing)

ive just change 15lts of water and used what ive always used interpet fresh start (its all gone now)
i added it to my 15lts bucket and put the bucket of water in the tank

ive just seen a couple of my fish doing that flicking thing
when i dose i just leave it a mim and swish it round
onanother thread going some one said dose the hole tank even when doing a small water change
im worrie now ive done somethinh rong

should i add some more ive only the prime now

you worry too much lol. It will be fine, TBH i would not even add anything to tap water on a 8% water change on a bigger tank, on a tank that big 15L will dilute fast anyway
