*updates*latest Pics And Tank Shots !

Awwww he looks so small and harmless in that big tank, hes really coming along nicely now.

BTW space is right, dark sand and black background with a reddish colour lighting tube (the interpet beuaty lamp is the best ive found) will show the colours of better, light sand and blue backgrounds tend to wash the colours out of the fish making them appear silvery and pale.
well there is no way i can even reach the bottom ov the tank never mind remove 50kg ov sand.....The only thing i will replace is the background and if all goes to plan there will be a nice fire eel in there on that lovely light sand lol.....if i knew this b4 i set it up sure i d have gave it a try but its a bit too late and i m still very happy with it as it is :hey: The tank is gonna be a main feature in our living room when we move and i really dont like the idea ov a black background...i dont have anything black its not a favorite colouur ov mine ..what colour sand do you have in ur jardini's tank?? I m thinking with some bog wood on the sand we have in there now its gonna look really nice ..time will tell u have all got my mind ticking again hahaha

What colour is the back of the backgorund? They're usually blue/black... He does look midgetty though
its white feeshy....i m gonna try and get sum more tanks shots when he is closer to the front ov the tank rather than lurking in the background cos ur rite it does make him look smaller than he actually is which is a bit disapointing

I dont really have any substrate in my jardini tank, just a handfull of sand to make it not look completely bare.

I would love something like that in my room , except without the arowana biting my hand off, maybe an eel or one of those fish Andy got, his looks really really nice. , it almost makes me go :hyper: . LOL but that would look weird looking at something thats on the internet  , people might stare... :look:

At last lol...there will be some kinda decor going in for the fire eel...i fancy bog wood and maybe will add a few rocks too as thats what the fire eel that we will be buying has in its present tank...only thing that puts me off bog wood thou is the discolouration ov the water threw the wood even pre soaked but i m sure i will fine something that suits me or even that fish hahaha :hey:

So say I got an arowana for my 55g (which I won't because I can't afford one and I like to have plants in my tank) would it be ok in a 55g? Also paul_mts how long do BGF's get because my neighbor has a BGF and some other kind of ghost knife it is a white one (not sure what species of the ghost knife it is) in his 55g thats to small for those fish espically 2 right has also has a maybe 8" common pleco in the tank to and only preforms vacum cleanings 3 times a year?(sorry for getting off topic maryjason)
