UPDATE: Colomnaris or Velvet and some Parasite

Ever feel like just giving up? I feel like my efforts are hopeless, and that they're all going to die...

We need perfect water conditions so test everything and post back.
Get a med for bacteria and add that to kill off any bacteria floating around.
I'm afraid once a disease hits you might have to ride it out. How many fish do you have left and how big is the main tank.

Oh, and any other symptoms that you can see, such as reddening of anywhere or losing any colour?

Just finished the 75% water change....and there's water EVERYWHERE! The hose slipped out of the tank while I was outside and flooded the livingroom...which has hardwood floors...

I'm really just about ready to give up..

I'll post stats once this mess is cleaned

The main tank is 55 gallons. I've got a spotted raphael, a striped raphael, two bronze cories, a stick cat and a handfull of livebearer fry.

I've lost the plec, an upside down catfish, a peppered cory, 7 neons and some livebearer fry.

And no other symptoms...they're just dropping.

Nitrate: 0
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia: 0
pH: 6.4?
Total Hardness: 25
Total Alkalinity: 40

So apparently I have soft water and low alkalinity. The other night htey tested fine.. pH was 7.0... Could that be a problem?

Even bigger problem now... the hurricane is coming and we'll more than likely be without power for a few days... I think there's no more hope for them.

With the ph dropping so fast it can cause problems. Stop doing water changes to see if it will balance out itself. Sorry for all your problems but with the hurricane coming it may just be a wait and watch game with them and see who comes out the other end.
Temperature is ok as long as it doesnt fluctuate.

Sorry for all your problems when it rains it pours, add the maracyn two med, good luck, hope you will be ok.

How are you and the fish.
