Ugh... Ich!

Lucky is still going really well, he's now out of the hospital tank and back in with his friends doing really well although i did lose my last Black Widow Tetra last night. I do feel there was something more sinister in the tank other than ich though! :/
All remaining fish are looking really well now so i'm hoping they're all going to beat the odds i'd stacked against them.

Good for Lucky :flex:

Its been a tough ride for you :/

I've taken a female platy out this morning that is showing signs of dropsy :-(

Most of the other fish are now ich free apart from the remaining 3 neons and a couple of platy fry.

Urgh..... having said all that i think i spoke too soon! My 1 remaining Silver Shark still has ich, he's darting around the tank like a mad man, but i'm not sure if that's more because at the beginning of last week i had 6 of them & he's feeling a bit lonely. They're still having treatment so i'm hoping i won't have any more fatalities!

I'm leaving the Isle of Wight at the beginning of May so i'm not sure how all my fish are going to take the stress of the move yet, what with the boat trip and drive, although we're not moving far.... only Dorset! About half hour from the boat! Boy am i looking forward to setting up my tanks again! NOT!
Kaz :/  :S

Your fish shoudl be able to cope with the move if you get them all haearty and healthy by then. I recently moved and it was an hour long journey all the fish survived the journey. So half and hour shoudl be fine, though it is a pain to strip dowm then set up your tanks. try and take as much of the old tank water as possible as that will help!!
unfortuneatley a few weeks after i moved in a bought a new fish which introduced somekind of bacterial infection in my tank that seems to wipe out bettas and no cure seemed to work.
