Ugh... Ich!

Its a pain I know. I have guppy fry and some platy fry that are ready to be sold at the lfs but I can't take them with white spot on even if only a few have it. I think its a vicious circle for this tank as its now getting overcrowded with so many juvies in there and probably creating the stress which makes them get white spot  I've had it in the 55 gallon, 30 gallon and 25 gallon :/

You have a few weeks to go till you move so hopefully your fish will be fine by then. If not, why not have a word with the lfs and see if they have a spare tank that will take them and treat them for the whitespot. Most of the fish in my lfs seem to have it anyways :(

I managed to get my betta female tank rid of it quite quickly as I dipped each female in salt baths for a couple of days and the cories luckily never caught it. I can't add salt to the big tank as its has bristlenoses in there and it would take me forever to catch every single fish and dip them :fun: so far I've only lost a neon and an adult platy and I think that the raised temp of 84 was what got them. I've now reduced the temp and they are looking a bit happier. I've also put a large airstone in there.

How is Lucky today? hope the healing vibes are coming through to him

I am sorry to hear about more losses :(

This doesn't make sense, though! To lose so many in such a short period of time, despite all of your efforts...It must be an aggressive form of Ich.

Could anything toxic have gotten into the tanks (such as air freshener)?

Swimming upside down is not normally associated with Ich, I think something more sinister may be going on with your tanks :(

Was a very strong ich. I can't work out what else is wrong with them either. At first i thought it might be Dropsy but now i'm not so sure! :/

I got ich and every single fish died :-(

How is Lucky doing? I think we are all desperate for the little guy to make it!!
