Twigs/sticks In Tank?

what if you have a large branch say like nelly your not going to be able to boil or stick it in the oven ? im asking for myself really but other people might want to know too because alot of people want a nice big piece of wood for a centre piece that wont fit in domestic cooking appliences and pans

And to add to that, even if it will fit, certain people would get their hands chopped off if they decided to use kitchen appliances to clean and sterilise some wood they'd brought in from the park!

i just got my bath water as hot as humanly possible, soaked in bath/scrubbed and repeated a few time's...then soaked it in there for two day's....don't panic i have a shower,never used bath til then,knew it would come in handy for something>
Then i just weighted it down with the slate, and bobs my uncle, it worked fine for me

There are other ways to make an oven rather then domestic appliances, start a good bonfire and place some rocks in the centre of the fire (stand well away as rocks may explode. Wait for the fire to die down then place the rocks in a barbecue and put the wood inside close and insulate the lid if possible.

my garden isnt big enough for a fire lol its tiny thats what you get for living in a terrace lol and my BBQ certainly isn't for a lrge piece of wood i'll have to upgrade or build one out of a steel drum cut in half lengthways i suppose

If your garden isn't large enough find a secluded spot in the woods lol, You can make a two level brick oven for larger pieces or if near the beach a sand oven. Feeling like a mad scientist on a sunny day make a solar oven using parabolic reflectors underneath, I would be especially impressed if you made a fresnel lens oven.

ive got loads of them reflectors lol if you build a fire in the woods or beach nowadays you get seriously done by the police the beach is illegal and the woods is unless you have permission of the game keeper or authoraties even when camping the relevant authoraties have to be notified nowa days unfortunatly you can't do anything without getting in trouble not even farting in a lift anymore lol. i.ll just get loads of them disposable BBQ's lol and line them up lol

I haven't but I know what you mean. Ping pong ball, moss of your choosing (often java moss) attached via a hair net or something similar, and then it's often anchored via thin fishing line.

And glad i can spring ideas for people to try

One question however, what would be the best way to attach it to the ball since the ball is entirely smooth? How would it manage to hold on, evenater a long time lol?

I would think a hair net with 0.5cm holes would be best you can then superglue or stitch the ends together with fishing line. I would also say dip the balls in some dark green latex paint before starting so that they aren't a garish colour before the moss matures.

Hmm a hair net would eventualy decompose wouldnt it?

If not, would it be able to be put on the ball UNDER the plant so that it attaches to that? Or is that what u ment lol
