Does anyone use the Tetra Delica range of foods in jelly in little sachets?

I am currently trying the brine shrimp - the fish seem to like it, except that it sinks pretty fast and then they lose interest - I like the fact that it seems fresher to use as it's in one feed sachets - no fuss defrosting.

Any one else....?

Bought a couple of them once but my fish didn't like them, the fancy goldfish had ago but even the goldfish wasn't to impressed, so never bought them since.

I was going to buy some for my betta as I'm sure Mum won't like frozen bloodworm among her frozen peas But since they sink fast, maybe not.

i dont have a fish that wont go crazy for it. my turtle likes it too

i hear there is another kind of gel food out now that comes in a squirt bottle. if only i oculd find it...

My fish love it. The trick is to only squeeze a tiny bit out, and poke the nozzle part under water. The fish will eat it direct from the tube, so very little sinks.

I think he meant that since he can't have the stuff in the freezer, he was thinking of trying this stuff.

I have some and my betta likes it but he doesn't really clean it off the bottom of the tank very well. The fish in my 20 like it but I haven't fed it to my rasboras because they don't clean the bottom at all.

Yes, thats what I meant. And its she What I mean is, I'm not sure if I can have frozen because my Mum might not like me keeping frozen worms in the freezer. I'll probab;y end up getting fruit flies for him though.

I keep my frozen product in a sealed tupperware box, she might not mind that to much.

I'm the mum here and I can tell you I wouldn't probably like it if one of my kids had worms in the freezer. Right now I keep them in a couple of zipper bags in the door away from other foods (separated by an empty butter box. lol) but I bought some plastic containers meant for freezing foods-not using my precious tupperware-and that'll keep it from touching any human food. In the fridge I have a jar of daphnia and I keep that sitting in an empty butter tub on the topmost door shelf where my dh keeps the penicillin for the cattle (also in a plastic container).

Odd, I keep my frozen fish food in the same place as the rest of my food; usually I have to dig in the freezer to find it. My mom is pretty tolerant of the thousands of dead brineshrimp in her fridge.

Well I'm the Mom in my house too and I currently have 3 pots of wriggling mealworms to feed the birds stored in my fridge - right next to the cheese ! - see all us Moms aren't squeamish !!

My mom keeps waxworms in a butter tub in the sidetable drawer by her sofa. She has turtles.

Seeing as how I dont cook ... the only thing in the freezer (besides some crusty old ice cream) IS the fish's food

I keep bloodworm and cockle stored in some tuppenware in the top of the freezer. Nobody else uses it, and nobody cares.....
