Very nice :good: and how does your GSP do with all of the company?

Hi Deep Freeze

My Puffer was the first Fish I ever bought for my Brackish Tank. (Then a 55 gal) He is about 3 inch now and all the other Fish have outgrown him. They are all between 5-12 inch. He looks a bit lost in that big tank. The Cat Fish knocks him out of the way sometimes and the Monos even knick the prawns out of his mouth. He is a very docile Puffer.

Great tank Sabby! :good: Is that a protien skimmer I see on the side? If so why?
The gobie is awsome! You should raise the salinity, mine is at 1.010-12 depends on the water change.

Hi

Yes it is a Protein Skimmer. My salinity is between 1.010 and 1.012 at the moment. I want the best water quality I can get for my tank that is why we bought a skimmer. We had big problems with high nitrates in the tank, even with doing a 30% water change every week. Then we found that our Tap Water was high in Nitrates as well so we bought a RO Filter. Once I swap my Archers I will start raising the salinity, so the skimmer will work more efficiently.

So was it the skimmer or the RO water that has controled the nitrates? I have the same problem, except the tap water here is fine. The nitrates in my take are too high, and I am going to blame the filter. I have a SW tank and have no need to skim that, and have no nitrate problems.
