Today I Got A Free Killifish

It got caught in the bag when I bought some other fish. The owner of the LFS said it was a female panchax. I have looked for info but most of what I found seems to assume you know something about Killifish!

So, can anyone enlighten me please? What sort of lifespan/growth rate (is about 1.5 inches max at the moment) any info at all really please. Also, should I be considering actually buying some more?

If you mean a Goldenwonder Panchax then itll grow rather rapidly, mine have quadrupled in size in the last 3 months. They have rather large trapdoor type mouths that will eat anything they can get in them

Pretty fish though and if you get a male and female are rather nice to watch prance about each other
