Nice one Staxx!
My ram is still clinging to life.
Brought the kids to a theme park today and it rained the whole time. Poor kids are fed up n so am I!
Turkey, ham, stuffing, veg for dinner.
Wish it was guppy time.....

yeah im glad theyre going to be honest. lovely fish but i can clearly see there not enjoying being in my tank. i mean ive had them a week and i can only just see a bit of colour coming. like a splash of yellow/green and a few black stripes.

hopefully the swap will see them better and the fish i get will do better in my tank. i think it just needs to be a lot more planted. ive only got 2 small plants so the whole 2/3 of the top is wide open with no cover. i really do need to get some more plants, just cant find any decent or ones i like the look of.

been raining down here in nottingham for the whole day nearly. this weather is really depressing!

ahh looks like im not getting the fish off minnnt now hes having issues with his tanks n stuff

second time hes done this to me... it must just be me tbh


dunno what to do with my GBRS. im guna have to keep them i think. i cant get another home for them!

If you have to keep them treat them right. Raise their temp slowly to the middle of their range, even if that means putting the other fish in a different tank. Also keep their water very clean with low nitrates. These are sometimes kept with Discus for a reason, they both need highly filtered water with very regular water changes. Aren't you the guy that said he enjoys changing the water anyway?

In my opinion German Rams are worth it. I'd have them myself but I have 3 tanks to keep under control & all are highly stocked so it's not like I'd just be rehoming a few fish.

EDIT:

I just saw your stock in your signature.........not easy to relocate that many fish! Maybe get a 15-20 gallon long for the new Rams instead? Bigger is better if you have more than 1 male.
