I don't think those are Bolivians. You wouldn't see those blue flecs. They just look like stressed GBR's to be honest.

I can't believe I didn't notice this earlier, doh! Bolivians have a lyretail where German tails are flat. These are very un colorful Germans in my opinion. What are you keeping their tank temp at? F please.........

My females don't have a lyretail, just the male. I don't know if thats always true or not between the sexes though.

ive had them 6 days and still no colour. there defiantly unhappy tbh.

luckily ive been talking to a forum member about a swap for a pair of apistogramma cacatuoides and a pair of Pelvicachromis Subocellatus Matadi. which he said will fear better in my tank and water!

Hey Lovelies,
Glad to read you're all well. Love the names you guys have on the fishies.
As for the Rams, Miguel is on the way out I think. He has a big white lump that's growing and it has hair-like things coming from it. I've treated the tank but it hasn't improved. I'm thinking of euthenising the little fella as he isn't doing so well. Oh dear....
His friend is an actual bolivian ram. Alejandro (spelling?). Should I get another to keep him company if/when poor Miguel goes to fishy heaven? Miquel is a german blue though I didn't know that until very recently.
Got two more sparkling gouramis and two more galaxy rasboras/celestial pearl danios (or whatever they're called nowadays) for my 10 gal.
I have a cold, feel yeuch!
It's raining here constantly all week. We're all going crazy.
Bring on guppy time! No vino tonight, just a hot drink and some paracetemol.

Re names- My molly-Freckles, bolivian ram-Miguel, german blue ram-Alejandro, clown plec-Jasper (the rasper), Not all corys are named but the names are-Dyson, Edgar and Edgar jnr, platys-paulie, der, Minnie (mickey mouse female) and sparkles.
I forgot about the betta-Balthazar.

Yeah, Apistos are awesome and a bit rare too. I'd make the swap myself since GBRs aren't that hard to come by. Nice Apistos aren't even available anywhere near me unless I special order from a fish specific shop.

don't even has my filter put together yet.. Going to use the filter that came with it in conjunction with the one I made.. It came out spectacular..

I got a betta named Ginsue

Four cories named after the beatles..

got a guppy I call Creamsicle, and my newest fish who is the fastest guppy I has ever seen, i named her Chevette for obvious reasons

Hey Lovelies.
Just fed some salad to the hoplo.
He was so happy he vacuumed it like he never vacuumed any food before. Then he started racing along the tank happily. X) Now he's sleeping next to his favorite bush.
