Maybe change out the male instead? I'd think 2 females could get along.

Zach & I originally got 2 males and they wouldn't stop fighting. The one male was bullying the crap out the other so I moved the Bully, which we named "Polar" to a different tank. Then I hand picked a replacement feamle for the one that was bullied and now he just chases her a tiny bit. Polar is still a loner.........no room in that tank for a female.

Yeah, but the females wouldn't breed, at least....Not successfully :hey:

If I had 2 females and one male, I would hope to break up the stress on her a little. I am going to try a few things today, I gave them bloodword, and in a bit Im doing a cold water change.

I'm going to dig through my crypts too in there....How bushy was the plant at the store? If it was very bushy, you may want it instead of mine. Mine are very healthy, but they aren't super bushy right now. It's up to you though.

Hey lovelies!!!!!

Water change day! Guppy tank first, then big tank, and I guess the other 2 could use one as well.

Hey Lovelies.
It seems like these fry are capable of eating 1-2 bloodworms with no side-effects. At least they're getting used to them, no idea why Pinky went lethargic after eating 3 of them, she was bigger than 2 of these fry put together.

ive noticed after i feed bloodworms my danios kinda go lazy..

like they start to swim a bit slower and dont really "play"

Same with my fry, they slow down. The adult swordies are ok, they'd eat more if they could. But the fry look like little puffer fish. Still, it's funny when they behave like chickens and run with 1 worm in their beak. X)

lool my corys are starting to learn that the food i drop tastes good, when i feed now they rush to the pellets. the never used to do it.

My hoplo always wants to be the first to eat. He will eat the bloodworms off my finger. The food never makes it to the floor, the swordies are like hungry wolves when it's lunch time. I do feed more often since the fry need some powdered flakes every now and then though, so I don't know why they go so crazy.

LOL the first part...........

Getting another female could def. help like it does with Gouramis, etc.

Can you post a pic or two of the Crypts? Are you sure they're the "lucens" variety? Even if they aren't you deal is better than the 2 small pots at the shop which were $7 each plus tax. I def. want some of Mik's plants too, especially those H. polysperma & those Star plants.........

Here's a random internet pic of Lucens Crypts. The ones in the store were much thinner & smaller than even the one on the right. Same pots though:
