hmm thinking about trying to fully stock my tank in the next couple of weeks then get my puffer tank.

i currently have the stock in my sig. im thinking of adding another 10 tetras of some sort(maybe black skirt). 6 more cory catfish and maybe some snails. maybe 1 or 2 more BN and calling it a day. does that sound like too much?

i think i have one of them.. i think

its massive now.

Massive is a good thing. Then you can split it up & have multiple massive plants...............

Yeah that would probably be too much lol. Is that a bowfront tank or it it kinda long & low? I think 2 BN's is enough for that size tank. Snails are no problem and the rest should be okay. Maybe try 6 or 8 of the Black Skirts to start. Maybe just bring the Cory numbers up to 8 of each. You already have a good amount of bottom dwellers..............

its a normal tank. 100cm long 45 cm tall 40 cm wide(front to back). over filtered 6x an hour. im on top of my maintenance. some weeks i do 2 wc's if i feel its needed(even if my stats are perfect)

maybe the 2 more BN was pushing it. but im feeling the tetras and 6 more corys..

Well that's a nice footprint actually if my specs of 40 inches long, 18 inches high & 16 inches front to back are crrectly translated. More Corys shouldn't be a problem at all. I just saw your signature & at 47.5 gallons I figured it was like a 45 high tank which is less length and more height.

Were you thinking a third kind of Cory or adding to the existing numbers?

adding 1 more albino and then a third kind. maybe "green" corys which are bronze corys really. it depends what a LFS have in stock when i go

If you want 6 different Corys maybe consider Threelined Corys aka False Juliis, or Three Strip Corys. Here's some pics of mine to talk you into them: :hey:

Actually "Green Corys" are "Emerald Corys" and they are different from Bronze or Albino Corys. Most Albinos are really the same as Bronze so adding 6 more Bronze would be almost the same as increasing the Albinos to 12! That's badass. :hyper:

DO NOT PUT BLACK SKIRTS IN GROUPS UNDER 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are very nippy in small groups.

i guess well see what happens.. need to have a look around the local shops and go from there.

Fat belly on the left, and they are cleaning the wood. :hyper:

Bolivian Rams? I want some of these! I NEED some of these! Any tips/facts about them that you could possibly share with me? Sharing is caring!!

Hey Lovelies! Was left at home alone all day today :-( but I bathed the dog, cleaned my room and got chips when the family got home.

Loads of peeps on the forums seem to be getting rams at the moment. They are beautiful fish. Mine have always been plagued with bad luck though.

They are great chunky little fish, Lucy. The are pretty hardy unlike German Blue Rams. They have thrived in my hard water AND soft water tanks.

They have also just SPAWNED.
