Kermit the dwarf blue legged hermit

Your hermit is lovely.

I'd keep an eye on him though, I had some dwarf blue hermits I bought from a store, turned out to be Skeleton Hermits, which grow to the size of your hand!!

They had similar stripes to your lil' guy there.

The tank looks lovely biff.

did you used to be on the salty side rusty

I did indeed, spent a year with marine, but my friend managed to wipe the entire tank, filter and heater in the week I went on holiday.. Genious.

At that point I said **** it.. and went tropical.

Had a tank with hermies and goby's in.. after I lost the goby's to a bacterial bloom I moved onto a colder rockpool setup, as I heard the skeleton hermits could take it, and ended up keeping bullheads, loved them to bits, absolutely loved them, but then the wipe happened cos of my mate and enough was enough.

Absolutely loved keeping the hermits though, unbelievable amounts of personality.

that's good to know if i need any tips
i am new the reef thing kept fish only
before but have been in to tropicals for 25 plus years
or there about its took a big part of my life
up i know some times i think why did i bother

because fish are relaxing to look at (when things are going well)

sometimes I wonder why i bother, but then i remember how much enjoyment i get out of it.

that just as interesting with
all the hitchhikers and all that
 my nerves are in shreds at the
moment i sit down watch my tanks
and it calms me down a tad

Yeah I can understand that completely. I used to be a depression sufferer and i honestly think keeping fish has helped drag me out of it.

And your live rock must be very interesting indeed! I used to be fascinated by my barnacles, anenome's (spelling?) and such, so live rock would keep me entertained for hours.

Honestly, I haven't had my television switched on in atleast 2-3 months, I watch my tank instead, how silly

Is that a normal crab or a hermit? I can't quite see.

And that worm is awesome.. Would love to have a load of those in a group.
