Tetratec Parts

So I bought a used tetratec ex 600 on the forums about 4 years ago now! We've moved house and renovated so the fish tank had to take a back seat and I've never actually tried the filter.
Turns out the section of the outlet which the pipe fits to is broken off and was stuck in the pipe. I've found entire outlets online, but wondered if there was a way to just buy the u shaped section I need?
Thanks for any tips
hubby is trying to rig up a fix now, but as it needs to be watertight, I'm being pessimistic!

Hmm, I have a TetraTec EX 1200, wonder if the spray bar and connections same as on the 600?
 
Which u shaped section do you speak of?
 
Perhaps a pic might be of help.

H is the entire outlet and it's the u shaped section of that, which is what the flexible pipe attaches to, that I'm looking for.

Thanks for the link Do they have more than what's listed? They have the whole spray bar kit, but I've seen it quite a bit cheaper elsewhere

Perhaps if you post in classifieds a wanted ad, you may have more luck.

I do have these u shaped parts you speak of but am unsure if they're of the same size / hose fitting diameter for your ex600 as mine is a ex1200....

It seems my pipe is 12mm, but the ex1200 is 16mm. Tried several fixes, but just got water peeing everywhere! So have caved and bought the full spray bar set from here, best price I could find http/www.fish-fish-fish.com/tetratec-ex400-600--700-replacement-outflow-kit-1683-p.asp

Ah, just as i feared, the 600 being different fitting diameter to the 1200.
 
That sprayer kit on that link is a good price to be perfectly honest. Good find.

I had the misfortune to speak to tetra customer "service" today about this same filter leaking. OMG, I've never known anything like it, she hung up on me!
I've rung back twice to speak to someone about it, and the filter, their technical knowledge is zero, by their own admission, and their promises to get someone to call me back have come to nothing, what a surprise!
I've never dealt with a company like it, reading posts from a few years back, it seemed their customer service was second to none, but my experience is that it's gone way downhill.
Anyone else phone them lately?
