Tank Water Test

just done a water test on my wifes fish tank ph low 6.6 .ph. high7.4 .ammonia oppm .nitrite oppm .nitrate 40.ppm is this ok

sounds spot on but what's the history

is, how long has the tank been running, stock etc?

its beeen on the go since xmas had fish in there for about a month now about 15 .change the filter two weeks ago

with a tank that new you must test regularly for ammonia and nitrite as ANY reading above zero will require major water changing. Keep feeding down to a minimum during the first few months of a cycled tank. Also remember there is a world of difference between a 'cycled' set-up and a 'matured' set-up

its wifes tank i keep an eye on lol i have got three foot tank just setting up hope i get same test as hers lol
