Okay, I won't be getting fish until September, but I figured I'd at least try to get some ideas now.
The tank is 37g, 30"x12"x22"
Right now there's 40 pounds of live rock, but I might get another 10 pounds.
It will be a reef tank, so nothing that eats corals.

So far I know I'll be getting a jawfish, so I can't have anything that's going to hurt it.
I'm also going to get a pair of clowns, but not the usual precula/occelaris. I was thinking either clarki or sebae.
The rest I have no idea. I'm probably going to get some kind of goby/blenny, but I don't know which one.
I was thinking of a hawkfish, they're pretty cool, either flame or dwarf.
If, and only if, I can find a mandarin that eats frozen, I'm going to get that, but not for a while.
Other fish I was considering:
chromis, blue assesor, cardinals, highfin perchlet, bicolor pseudochromis, flame angel

Soooo... any suggestions?

carpenters flasher wrasse fo'sure!!! or for a little bit more money a mystery wrasse!

flame angel may nip yoru corals if u get one so consider that! ermmm i like longnose hawkfish! but ive heard they can be a bit aggresive and some will nip corals.

as for clowns look at the saddleback clownfish i reallly wanted a pair of them untill i saw black and white ones :p

what about pink skunk clowns?
and ditch the chromis, they can be aggressive towards eachother and youl only end up with one or two, get a school of longspine cardinals

I've already narrowed the clown to sebae or clarkii. You were on my thread I made on RC awhile ago, kyle. Cardinalfish don't move much... idk. I need to see the longspines in person. I'd rather have the hawk than the angel, but I'm worried that a flame hawk will eat a goby.

How big of a goby are we tallking about? If it's much bigger than an inch, the hawk probably won't touch it. In addition, NO hawkfish will EVER eat corals. Period. Might as well expect a goby to eat your lights.

I don't know what kind of goby... but it'll be bigger than an inch.

So...

Jawfish
2 clowns
goby
hawkfish
blue assesor.
and then after a while if I find one eating frozen, a mandarin.

Sound okay or one fish too many?
