I just completed cycling my 10 gallon tank, but I don't know what I should stock with. I do like guppies, but I don't have to have them. Any suggestions?????

There are loads of fish that could go in a ten gallon. Is your water hard or soft?

Guppies really do better in harder water, but you could still have them if you wanted.

Most of the smaller tetras would be fine (remembering they need to be kept in groups of six or more), as would rasboras and small barbs, like cherry barbs. Pygmy corydoras might be an option, as would a betta (but not with guppies) or sparkling gouramis.

There really are so many to choose from! Maybe have a look around your LFS and write down the names of anything you particularly like the look of, then you can come on here and ask if they're suitable or not :)

Thanks, would this be okay

3 male guppies(don't want a fry overload)
2-3 platys Or 1 honey gourami or 1-2 dwarf gourami
5 ghost or cherry shrimp

I would go with what you like. Guppies can really dress up a nice 10 gallon like mine did here.
