Minnows, they look a little like baby trout but slightly longer, they are from the same family as Scissortails. They look a little like them but brown to blend in with muddy river bottoms. Sticklebacks are in with Minnows as they were trapped in the same stretch of the river along with trout. I think I may have a couple of those. Wild river trout fry, about 1cm long. What did I use for bait? Tropical Fish food flakes!!! I put inside the bottle and inverted the top of the bottle as your diagram showed.(I cut the top of the bottle of course and them turned it around) Fish tasted the food in the water, went in and couldn't swim out. TRAPPED!!! I left the traps for about an hour- not long really. I also put a few holes in the bottom of the bottle to allow the water to flow through so my bottle wasn't pulled away from it's tetherings by the river flow. Small holes.
