I have the worst memory ever, but I'll try to remember to keep an eye out for a male for you. It'll be another few months before these babies are ready to go.

Just thought I'd do a little uppy-date. The reds from the Wilmer/Betty spawn will be 7 weeks this Thursday. Remember how daddy turn from a Wilma to a Wilmer? Now he's turning from a PK to a long finned BF LOL. So I guess I won't be getting as many PKs as I hoped for.

The whites from this spawn will be 6 weeks on Thursday. They're still looking a bit small but they're starting to fill out nicely.

I lost a lot of babies a few weeks ago. I think it might be because the larger babies were eating the smallest ones. I didn't get too big of a natural die-off though. I still have quite a few babies left.. maybe 30 from the white spawn but only 10ish of the reds.

Rahh they're so cute! They actually look like they're developing really nicely ;0) just keep up the BBS. Mine seemed to grow up overnight when I started feeding chopped frozen BWs/BS.

GREAT job, Ashley! I'm impressed! 30 and 10 is a really good number for your first spawns, not too many to be overwhelming, but that definitely is still a successful number. LMAO @ Wilmer!

*thinks* Well, If I'm sending you a pair and you're sending ME a pair, it should cost the exact same amount, si? Then, hopefully, we wouldn't have to worry about sending money at all, just the fish. *a little confused*
