Something Wrong With My Cory

No there is no red around it, it just looks like a little whiteish lump.

So I should use both at a half dose at the same time?
Would it be better to add one in the morning and one in the evening maybe?

Add the full dose of the myxazin, and then try half dose for now of the waterlife med protozin

Thanks for that,
I will go and do a water change now and add the meds after.

Sometimes you need two meds, keep an eye on the fish as i don't like recommending two meds in the main tank, if they seem to cope with half the dose of protozin gradually increase it to the full dose, good luck, also watch your stats as it may knock them abit.

I think I have an airpump somewhere do you think I should use it?

Yes the more aeration as possible as you are using two meds, also turn the temp down by two degrees.
You have removed black carbon if you use it.

Thanks,
I took the black carbon out before I used the meds the first time.
Now I had better find that air pump.

Dani hows the fish doing with the protozin

I have used it twice now and all fish look fine, they have all gone mad chasing the bubbles including the sick cory. I've never had the air pump going in the tank before but I think I will keep it now as the fish love it.
He still is darker than the others but hopefully the meds this time will sort him out.

Ok thats good news, good luck.

I have finished using both meds and the white patch on the cories back has cleared up.
He is still looking a little dark and I was wondering if I should just keep an eye on him to make sure he has recovered or use the myxazin for one more course?

It's not a strong med so i would like you say do another course, as it sounds like he's still has a bacterial infection by the darkness of him.

Thanks for that,
I just wanted to make sure it was ok to use it for a 4th time. He shows improvement every time so hopefully this course should do it.

Should be fine i have, it's not a powerful med, and he has had a bad bacterial infection, but he sounds like he getting better, as i think if you stop it he might go down hill again, good luck.

Thanks,
I'll go do a water change and add the med now.
