Something Wrong With My Cory

I finished the treatment yesterday and the cory seems much better.
He has returned to normal colour and is eating and swimming around with the others. The only thing is he still has all his barbels but they are now a little shorter than the other cories, doesn't stop him from finding food though so it shouldn't be a problem.

Thank you Wilder for all your advice in saving my fish. :D

Is it possible to carry on with the med abit longer.

I still have loads left.
On the bottle it says use for 5 days which I did, do you think I should carry on?

To be honest yes i would do another five days, are you using the myxazin.

I am using the myxaxin, do you think I should do a water change before adding any more med?
I done one before I started the treatment but was told not to do anymore while using it.

You could do one now and then you shouldn't have to touch it then for five days, i just want to make sure he is on his way to a full recovery as five days it not a long time and it all could start up again, especially with his barbels being abit smaller, good luck.

I'll do a water change tonight and then use the med tomorrow, I don't want him to get sick again.

Thanks for your time and advice.

I would add it tonight, the other med would of stop working anyway, they only work for a certain time.

Ok, I'll do the water change tonight and add the med after.
Thanks again.

I finished the treatment for the second time last night but he still isn't looking right.

His swimming has improved alot and his colour has lightened but isn't back to normal, he also rests more than the others and still gets bumped by the other fish and doesn't move out of there way.
He comes out when I feed them which he wasn't doing before so that is an improvement.

He has also developed a whiteish patch on his back which isn't fluffy or raised up, but he doesn't have the kind of shine the others have he just looks abit dull.

Should I try the med for a third time or try something different?

Any advice would be welcome.

Does the patch also run down the sides to form a saddle, i would add the med, but also add some primafix, as it could be columnaris.

The white patch is just under the top fin on both sides. I am not sure how to describe it, do you know of any web sites that would have pictures of columnaris? Then I can see if it matches my cory.

I don't have any primafix but I do have a bottle of protozin, will this be any good?

Thanks for that link it was very interesting.

It says on the bottle of myxaxin not to use the protozin at the same time, so which one should I use after doing a water change?

I have just noticed that one of the other bronze cories who I mentioned in my first post as he had lost his colour around his mouth, but I thought he had scraped it on something. He has a small lump abit like a pimple on the base of his tail. He is showing no signs of illness and is swimming and eating fine but do you think this is connected?

They say that to cover them selves it anything goes wrong, for now try the med at half dose to see how they handle it.
The pimple of his tail does it have a circling of red around it, or a red spot in the centre.
