Snails

hello
any ideas how my tank has filled up with snails all of a sudden? be nice to get rid of them as i bought a fish tank and not a snail tank. they seem to be breeding faster than the guppies. just moved the java fern and xmas moss plants to my other tank and now their is 3 snails in that tank. help.

They probably hitched a ride on the plants.
If you don't overfeed your fish you shouldn't have a snail problem
